Frank Turner, Andrew Jackson Jihad and Into It. Over It. played at Double Down Live in Gainesville, Fla., on September 28, 2011.

I got to the show late, naturally, because it started at 9 p.m. and I was eating spaghetti and trying to figure out where I could buy Pokemon Snap for N64 for five hours before, so I missed about 3.5 songs of Into It. Over It.ís (hereby referred to as Evan Weiss so I donít keep seeing the green squiggly line on MS Word) set. Andrew Jackson Jihad was definitely the biggest surprise for me. Okay, the show was only a few days ago, but I think they might have been the best concert surprise I've run into before.

Frank Turner is everything that is right in the world of music. He played hard at the Pittsburg show and waited around to meet all the fans afterward. Love this man.

So bummed I'm going to miss this tour. Tickets for the Boston date sold out over a month and a half before the show.

Anyway, if you haven't gotten the chance, check out Andrew Jackson Jihad's People Who Can Eat People Are The Luckiest People In The World. It's an excellent album that I'd recommend to anyone who doesn't mind someone with an acoustic guitar singing about a pregnant woman being decapitated. :P
