This summer I worked at a day camp, 8 weeks of my life were spent making other people happy. Sure, opportunities arose here and there, I had spurts of happiness, but they always, always, ended horribly. Never once worked out in my favor. So I kept moving on. I made friends, lost friends, and got pretty close to people I'll probably never see again. The ending of the session couldn't possibly be more bitter sweet. Bitter in the fact that I will maybe never see some of those kids or staff members again, some of whom I really liked. Sweet because to be honest, I hated my job, and to be even more honest, I hated a lot of the kids and staff there also. I'll miss some people, a lot of people, and thats the part thats killing me.
