Assuming the major demographic of The Voice is pre-teen and teenage girls (no offense), it makes perfect sense that the guys would be disproportionately represented in the finals.

I don't watch The Voice but this was an interesting short read. Write an update when the whole thing is done, I'd check it out.

Lay off the sexist bs. Statements like that reinforce the idea that men being into things traditionally viewed as female interests is bad because those pastimes are somehow less worthwhile than traditionally male hobbies. Watching The Voice will not make your testicles fall off.

2. I agree with everything else you said. This is exactly what happens on American Idol season after season. Male contestants who are not necessarily as talented/skilled as female contestants win because the majority of the audience is preteen and teenage girls. Which is kind of funny considering (and I'm hazarding a guess here) the two Idols with the most long-term, legitimate success are Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson. These shows are like the Super Bowl for the Hollister set. They get to pick a team, go nuts for it during playoffs, and bawl their eyes out when they win/lose.

Jamar, Lucca and Juliet in my final 3. Jamar and Juliet are more marketable IMO, but I think Lucca steals it.

Lindsay Pavao needs to win this thing. It's enough of a letdown that Dia didn't win the first season.

Hoping Juliet wins, but easily would be okay with Jamar winning. Both amazing vocalists. I still cant get over her performance of "Roxanne". I do like Lindsey and her voice, but definitely not the best or strongest. I thought she shouldve gotten voted off last time.

Also the fact that Christina voted Jesse off and Jordis was voted off when that country girl was terrible still pisses me off. I guess it gives a better chance for Juliet though. Im glad shes getting some recognition for her awesome voice. Even for an artist who already has fans, its a hard task to stay relevant in this business so to be recognized on a national level has got to be an amazing feeling.

The only problem with that logic is each coach only has 1 artist in the finals so Jamar and Juliet can't both advance....I agree with OP

Never took that into consideration.. clearly I was thinking "american idol voting style" when I wrote that. Anywho, in a perfect world, that'd be my final 3. I can only imagine what The Voice is doing for Juliet's album sales with Automatic Loveletter. She's getting the publicity regardless of moving on or not.
