With the year nearly 3/4 over, I thought I'd share a few thoughts on my favorite albums thus far.
AOTY Contenders
Thursday - Common Existence: this album got me back into Thursday after quite a drought. "You Were The Cancer" might be one of my favorite Thursday songs.
Manchester Orchestra - Mean Everything to Nothing: Yeah, I'm on the bandwagon. Yeah, this album is incredible.
The Swellers - Ups and Downsizing: Quintessential underdogs, but I've only had the album for two days and it's already secured itself a spot on my end-of-the-year honors. This was one of my most anticipated for the fall and the Swellers exceeded expectations in every way. Pick it up - they deserve your support.
