Of course I have. I miss that feeling, and I miss her. I haven't been able to figure out an answer to it all, though. It either happens, or it doesn't. You don't choose these things. They choose you. You can try your hardest for something, you can practically kill yourself trying to make it work. Sometimes the pieces don't fall into place. Sometimes you can't even find all the pieces.
"I don't know, you were really special to me then, and I remember how great you made me feel. So, no matter what, at least we have that."
"Funny how those memories stay with you, even if they didn't seem like anything special at the time. They do now."
"Yeah. I like it."
