It pays to be pessimistic... finally
08/11/09 at 07:52 AM by MattRM | I posted this comment on a news article about The Hoodies a little over a month ago, complaining about the ugly band t-shirts that everyone seems to be making these days. This morning, I got a message from one of the guys in the band saying that they were using my post, verbatim, for a t-shirt they were getting ready to print, and that they want to send me a shirt and a copy of their new EP.
It reads Re: The Hoodies "It's a shame no one knows how to make decent band t-shirts anymore." - Matt RM, Dayton OH
It's great to see a band having fun with the negativity that gets thrown at them from internet shit-talkers. It's even greater to get a free t-shirt and CD out of it. | |
