1. Beggars - Thrice
2. Armistice - MuteMath
3. No More Stories... - Mew
4. Aim and Ignite - fun.
5. TPTPTD - dredg
6. 21st Century Breakdown - Green Day
7. Merriweather Post Pavillion - Animal Collective
8. Mandala - Rx Bandits
9. The Eternal Return - Darkest Hour
10. Octahedron - The Mars Volta
11. Fantasies - Metric
I know I'm forgetting some (I'm pretty terrible at making/keeping lists), but that's most of my favorites of 2009 so far; not really in order yet either (although Beggars, Armistice, and No More Stories will most likely stay up top).
The Flaming Lips double album will more than likely make the list, along with a few others yet to hit shelves; such as John Mayer's latest, pretty excited for that one. Altogether a great year for music! | |
