L.O.V.E.

I stopped myself while attemping to become something more.
I stepped aside so no one would be able to call me out.
I hid from the shadows and I ran away from myself.
Crossing my fingers in hopes of finding change.
I erase my identity and I find my new name.
Passed out in notebooks of fortune written to tell.
But you don't listen because you think you know me so well.
So I listen to records, I make lines with friends.
Resighting every song we've ever gotten to sing.
And we laughed straight into the light of the morning.
Tomorrow's here and yesterday's gone.
Just like an old sad lover's song.
With notes the sore like a melody.
So come on and sing this song with me.
I'm lost and hopeless, but it only last a night.
When I wake up, everything will be back to alright.
L is for the way you look at all of my mistakes.
O is for it being overrated like the day
V is for the volume of your voice when you shout.
