I thought I would start posting on here about albums that I have acquired and what I think of them after 1 or 2 listens. I'm aware that I'm not very active on here so its unlikely many people will read this but I just want to record my thoughts.
So ill start with...
Radiohead - Kid A
I'd always dismissed Radiohead based on the few songs I had heard but after reading many 'end of decade' lists I thought it was about time I checked them out properly. I listened to a few of their albums but it was Kid A that caught my attention. I always thought that they were a very 'rock' orientated band so I didn't expect the electronica and ambience but it was a nice surprise. I don't like it anywhere near as much as a lot of people seem to but it's definitely an enjoyable listen when I'm in the right mood and I'm glad I finally checked it out.
Fang Island - Fang Island
I had never heard/heard of these before I got this album so I had no expectations at all. After 1 listen I can see my self enjoying this album quite a lot, there are some good songs here. Its not the type of album that I would listen to all the time but ill enjoy it every now and then.
