First things first, you're going to need to know my real name before I go any further. I believe it's important to get on a personal level with (potential) readers when you're planning to blog long term. So, without further ado, my name is Kris. Pleased to meet you. I've been meaning to start this very blog for quiet awhile, but have for one reason or the other put it on the back burner. However, the time has fnally come to put an end to that as I plan to utilize an idea I've had for awhile. My idea? To blog regularly about the world of Football, the spherical ball kind, on AP.net in an attempt to demonstrate just what is so special about the sport. Who knows? Maybe you'll even join in with the ever active discussions over in the EPL/MLS (Club Soccer/Football) Thread. Dedicated doesn't even begin to describe us over there.
You may be thinking it's a stupid idea, right? That it will never take off? Well, in all honesty, I can't blame you for holding such opinions. This is quiet clearly a music site, I really don't have the right to blog about Football here and I really shouldn't expect anyone new to care. However, there comes a time in a person's life where they just might want to branch out and look for something new. Maybe even something rewarding? Or how about something unpredictable? Football can be all these things and more to a person if given the chance to take it's hold. If one person stumbles across this blog it will all be worth it. And if nobody stumbles across it? Well, I've needed somewhere to ramble my sport related thoughts and this will provide me that somewhere I've been looking for. Either way, I'm a winner. Unfortunately, the same can't be said about my team. More on that in future entries.
