AL GREEN CONCERT REVIEW 7/2/12

This is just what happened at the Al Green show this past Monday night at the Seminole Hardrock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, FL. I knew to expect a “church” atmosphere, but, I did not know how powerful and soul stirring this show would be. As soon as Green took the stage, you knew the reverend was ready to preach. And preach he did. Between taking his jacket off from being overcome by the music to passing out roses to the ladies in the audience, the reverend gave a lesson on how to take the audience higher. Everything felt right and felt good. With the show only last an hour, you did not need anymore. The message of love and understanding came across perfectly. Anymore would have been overkill. | |
