Song quote of the day
04/25/07 at 09:01 AM by CellarGhosts
"Bless me dark father, I have sinned.
I've done it before, and I'll do it again,
'Cause it keeps me warm, it makes ya smile,
Been beneath me all the while, hell yes..."

Song quote for the day
04/24/07 at 06:32 AM by CellarGhosts
"Outside the street's on fire, in a real death-waltz
Between what's flesh and what's fantasy.
And the poets down here don't write nothin' at all,
They just stand back and let it all be.
And in the quick of the night, they reach for their moment,
And try an' make an honest stand.
But they wind up wounded, not even dead.
Tonight...in Jungleland..."

Put "Walk Among Us" on, and turn it up!
Aint nothing on the air waving the hatred we feel"

-Alk3, "We've Had Enough"

I've Noticed Something...
02/02/07 at 05:49 PM by CellarGhosts
People seem to love fighting on the forums here. Most of all the lyrics/poetry section. Personally, I find it all a waste of time and intelligence. If someone posts a sarcastic or insulting comment on one of my works, its no biggie.

The End.

More Pointless Rambling...

The Totally Pointless Jounral Entry II
  • Music: So today on the bus, a friend let me listen to a CD of his that had a song on it that was a "mash-up" of Korn's "Coming Undone" and Dem Franchize Boyz' "Lean Wit It Rock Wit It", which got me thinking - What, exactly, is it? Until somebody tells me what it is, I refuse to lean and/or rock with it. Just as I refuse to wang chung tonight, or any night for that matter, until it is explained to me what a wang chung is, so shall I refuse to lean or rock with it.
  • Mood: Today was pretty cool. Snow fell consistently here in Shelbyville for the first time in quite a while. Sure, we had snow a week or so back, but it didnt last long. Let's hope this snow sticks. Which brings me to my overall mood for the day. With the snow came a waming sense of relaxation and nostaliga. It made me think of last Christmas of '05, and of Janurary/Februrary of '06, and how much simpler and easier things were then. But the memores were nice and toasty, and kept me in good spirits throughtout the day. Except for Algebra. That shit always gets me down. Algebra pretty much = But oh well, the rest of the day was fun. I just rememberd though...I miss Jessica... ...sorry...personal stuff here...if you want to know, look forward to my next journal entry...I feel like writing about her. But it'll probably be set to where only my friends can see it...so if you're not on my friends list, sorry...But to end on a good note, I'm going out to buy Alkaline Trio's "Remains" CD/DVD this weekend. So that's good. Alk3 = Perfection. And as these brilliant men once said, "I'm done, over and out, my dear..."

First Journal Entry...
02/01/07 at 11:16 AM by CellarGhosts
Well here we go...my first ever on-line journal entry. Sure, I've kept my blog on my MySpace profile updated every now and then...but usually with lyrics and pointless information...the latter of which will probably make up about 85% of this journal anyway...so...what to write about, what to write about?...hmmm...
Does anyone else still have to put up with nerdy little Hot Topic kids (if you shop at Hot Topic, no offenses, but you know what I mean) who are still hung-up on quoting that God-awful Napoleon Dynamite movie? It's like, every day, two plus years later, they're still all "Gah! Tina you fat lard come get your dinner! Gah!...You firggin idiot! Gah!...Like, watch me do a really bad impression of myself! Gah! Gah! Gah!" (Insert whiplash-inducing nerk-jerks throughout, usually in tandem with the "Gahs"). Which brings me to my next point, movies. I mean come on...there aren't any great films anymore. Good ones, yes. Entertaining, yes. Great, though, no. Where are all the truly great movies nowadays? There's nothing anymore like "the Godfather", or "Forrest Gump", or "the Shawshank Redemption". As far as comedies go, we've got stuff like "Date Movie" and "Little Man", instead of works of genius like "This Is Spinal Tap", or "Airplane", or the Monty Python stuff. yeesh.
