I am the ringing in your ears after a good show.
I am the static on the fm waves.
I am the feedback from your electric guitar.
I am the silence when the lights go out before a band comes on.
I am the ticking of the metronome.
I am the breath before a scream.
I am the space in between the notes.
I am the push of the crowd towards the leadsinger.
I am the progression of verses to choruses and bridges.
I am the bass vibrations through your feet.
I am the life that music brings me.
Driving home last night a skyline came into my view, it was surrounded in a red light. I drove on to my house, in constant wonder of this red glow being admitted by the city lights. It was 9pm and I thought my eyes were growing fuzzy from lack of sleep, but I knew it was really there.
The city was surrounded in a blanket of calm reaching from the runways of SFO to the sand of the Pacific. The red starless sky stared down upon me shielding me from the stressful world filled of high school drama and unneeded information. It showed me that I was still living and not only breathing US history and precalculus. I am alive during this millennium, and living through this great period of history. I also hail from what I consider to be the best coast on the planet...California.

So i'm pretty sure that everyone has heard of the popular kid's show Yo Gabba Gabb by now. It was created by the leadsinger of the Aquabats after all...
well this show pretty much has the best musical guests of all time.
Bouncing off this article, i really wish some of my old shows had these types of guests.
i mean Of Montreal, the Aquabats (of course), The Aggrolites,Shiny Toy Guns,The Shins.... (for a full list check: here.
this is just not fair. but it is a great show, or so i've been told from my 3 year old cousin and the younger kids who i work with.
my life begins in coffee shops.
i wander in and out of them in search of toffee nut white mochas, soy chai tea lattes and frappuccinos that taste like kid-cereal. my life unravels in coffee shops.
on more than one occasion i have found myself traveling to one in search of late night caffeine and needed comfort from an employee of said shop. my life evolves in coffee shops.
i've began to receive free drinks due to knowing staff members at these shops. new relationships have been formed and continued due to the love of coffee and sugar-filled substances. My life advances in coffee shops.
i have spent countless hours studying in coffee shops because i feel truly at home in them; their comfy chairs and sweet-smelling liquid have taken me in and encouraged my mind to do its best work. My life slows down in coffee shops.
they become places for friends and i to discuss our feelings, emotions, drama, lives and fun memories. they are also the place we talk about how our lives have changed...for better or for worse. My life is like a coffee shop.
people wander in and out. some become regulars others stop in once a week. some are on vacation there and a couple just need a fix.
i find myself starting to smell like starbucks more than the Love Spell body mist i have.
i guess my main idea in starting an account on this whole website was to explore the world of music.
it is the only thing that has remained constant in my life.
i wanted to offer my opinion on shows/bands/songs/whatnot.
i wanted to discover new bands and expand my horizons.
i wanted to further develop my taste for audio blood.
...cause this is how i bleed in audio, let down my skin and let the wind roll through my veins.
