A Feeling...An Earthy Feeling...

It will NEVER get old.
One of the best years of my life.

I Don't Like THIS Song At All.
04/09/08 at 02:11 PM by Miss Heartcore
was beautifully depressing as an instrumental track.

The lyrics that were later released turned it into something tragically disturbing in my mind.

Yet, so many fans love it.

What's interesting is that I always loved

And it turns out that most of the other fans do too

It's the only song besides "Semi-Charmed Life" where I know all the lyrics, beats, and pauses exactly to a T.
In fact, there are few songs besides "SCM" and "MDB" that I know every bit of, in and out.

The end of April can't come soon enough.
Hopefully this time I'll have company.

And 11 Years Later...
03/14/08 at 01:49 PM by Miss Heartcore
In 1997, as a scraggly 12 year old kid I fell in love with Third Eye Blind.
I would spent every afternoon after school watching their video on Vh1's Top Ten countdown

Then I'd tune into z100's interactive 9 at 9 to catch "Semi-Charmed Life" play.
By 9:30PM I had popped the cd in and held the headphones close and dear to my ears as I did my homework.

Such mature lyrics for an adolescent...but I loved singing along to the songs.
In the summertime, I'd lay out and play "The Background" and "Motorcycle Drive By" on repeat.

I was too young to attend a show by myself and no girl I knew every liked them.

It wasn't until college that I actual found people that cared about their music.
In fact, every band that I started to like seemed to credit them as an influence.

There were actually other people out there who respected them too?!?

Well, when they came to Starland Ballroom last year, the tickets sold out too fast for my to get them.
Million Dollar Bill told me he would have taken me and I was even more sad.
But to make up for it, he stole their set lists for their two shows and brought them back for me.
That's love <3.

So, I am THRILLED to say that after 11 years of sadness over missing their shows,
I will be attending all FOUR in April.

April 1 - Show #1 Starland Ballroom
April 2 - Show #2 Starland Ballroom
April 29 - Show #1 Nokia Theater
April 30 - Show #2 Nokia Theater

That's right I'm greedy.
I deserve four shows in one month after having no shows for 11 years.

So far, I'm attending these things solo.
It should be a dance...or maybe sway party...if you see me and want to sway then you're more than welcome to join in.

I'm fully STOKED to the maxx.
It's like Christmas in March...
Hopefully I'll get out of work on time--Oh SNAP!
