The Flaming Lips are probably one of the most defining bands of all time. For the past 20 years they have become the poster child for being the kings of weird. It's hard to find someone that hasn't heard of or doesn't really care for The Lips. They hardly release anything that isn't top notch and their latest album Embryonic sticks to that tale. Sticking with what they know The Lips have delivered with the usual craziness but in the form of two discs. Embryonic is just one of those albums that when you're done with it, you feel like you have really experienced the album. The Flaming Lips never disappoint and nothing has changed here, they are still the same crazy band you feel in love with oh so long ago.
