| Getting To Know Labels |
Last week I did an e-mail interview with LAB Records. An independent label based in Manchester, UK. I'll admit I'm a fan of the label, they've got some good bands on their roster (The Autuer, MiMi Soya, The Honeymoon Suite) and I'm guessing they are a fan of AlterThePress.com (and why wouldn't they be?)
Anyway I decided to do an interview with LAB, as over the last few months they've grown as a label and I thought it'd be a good idea to find out the story behind the label and its growth. In addition to this, I thought it would be something different to the usual interviews I do.
Thankfully it turned out really well and I'm pleased with the results, as I find it interesting to see how a label copes with the constant changes and challenges it has, within the music industry.
I am hoping to do more label-related interviews soon.
