Being that I listened almost exclusively to pop-punk and nu metal for the first half of the decade, the list reflects accordingly. Also every band was limited to one album, since the "real list" would then only include a handful of bands or be really long.

Last year was a very good year for music, with four of my top five bands releasing new music. It also put quite a dent in my bank account, as I attended 30 concerts and bought around 150 CDs...and that's just for those released in '07!
