Personally, my favourite movie of all time is the John Hughes classic The Breakfast Club. One of my favourite songs of all time is 'Don't You Forget About Me' by Simple Minds. Who can forget that fantastic closing scene of Breakfast Club: John Bender punching the air in triumph and Simple Minds' "hey hey hey hey!" ringing in the backround.
I think one thing that can make or break a movie is the music. Even if the acting is shit and the story line could be better, how many times have you walked out of a theatre saying "crap movie. Great music" and having the theme song stuck in your head for days? I've done that countless times.
So the question I'm posing is: How important do you think the music is to the success of a film? Also, what are your favourite music moments in films?
