There For Tomorrow - I went and saw these guys again at their hometown show in Orlando and to say the least, they have big things in front of them. Catchy, Edgy, Rock music that treads the waters swam by Saosin, Anberlin and Paramore. While it's not anything you can't claim you've heard before, it's definitely something I haven't found done better by a band this young and fresh.
Tofer Brown - I can't believe I don't get to catch his most recent tour with Barcelona. This Belmont-alum has been spreading his Indie/Folk/Pop tunes from coast to coast. Bright guitars, brilliant string arrangements, and addicting vocal melodies will stick with you long after you press pause on his self-titled five-song EP.
Brightwood - This band has sported the headline "New Record Coming Soon..." for longer than I can remember. In my opinion, they have long stood as one of the best unsigned bands, and my favorite to ever come out of Portland, OR. Their self-produced/engineered EP The Love Antidote was at the top of my 'Best Of's' for 2006, and hasn't left my regular rotation since then. I've been supplementing myself on casual listens on their myspace of their new song, "Wake." Think the beauty of Copeland meets the tone and consistency of Jimmy Eat World.
