So the new Kevin Devine is out and it's really, really, REALLY good. It's gonna be on a lot of lists at the end of 2009.
Here's the bummer. It releases on April 28th. And it already leaked. That SUCKS. Kevin just can't seem to find a break, and now that he has created his best album to date, he gets screwed over by an early leak.
I can understand as a fan, you want to have your favorite artist or band's newest material ASAP. It's human nature to want everything new immediately.
So here is what you can do. BUY THIS RECORD ON APRIL 28TH or PREORDER IT WHEN IT BECOMES AVAILABLE!
I still believe that leaks hurt more than they help. Yes, file-sharing can help a new/small band get recognized, but once they become established or are on a label and need to tour to support their life, then leaks hurt so much. These bands need to record sales so that their labels can validate giving them money and support to tour.
Kevin Devine has released an incredible record. The very, very least you could do is buy it in April. |
