Music is not simply harmony and vibrations, nor just a catchy beat or a heart-breaking ballad. Music is a force of its own. Within itself it has the ability to move inside of us, grab our insides and pull at them, paint our hearts with nostalgia, make us laugh or cry. It can take over the entire body itself, moving it in perfect accord with the energy projected by that perfect song. It often says what we ourselves find hard to verbalize. It is the grandest of symphonies and ear-aching cacophony. Music is a force just as real and powerful as gravity or the wind, but much more flexible. It is not governed by any law, nor any constricting conditions. It exists for us to create and embrace. I remember the first time I wrote a song straight from my heart. It was simply titled “Ninth Song.” When I recorded it, it became a memory marked by my own creation. I listened to it over and over again, listening to my own lyrics sung back at me, realizing how meaningful this expression of inner sentiment was to me, I knew I had to do this for the rest of my life. I’ve been creating music with my whole being ever since then. I want to give people the power of music. I want to inspire everyone to feel the vast array of emotions music draw from our veins. It’s how I can prove I deserve to have these feelings, by sharing them with another human being. I believe in love. If there is anything that remains pure and innocent in this world, if there is anything that can save us, it is love.

Guitar, Writing/Recording Music, Poetry, Photography, Cartooning, Meeting new people, Long meaningful conversations, laughing at the peculiarities of life, driving with the windows down, watching summer stars, anything outdoors that isn't cold. I like nostalgia and reminiscing. I like just about everything about summer. Sunburns, the sound of lawnmowers, swimming in streams, etc. I'm very interested in meeting people that can bring out that kid in me again.

With the right people, I am off the wall. I am an artist. I am a musician. I am an absolutely hopeless romantic. I really love meeting new people, but it generally scares me enough I don't get around to it. I don't sleep. I love hats and scarves. I suffer from anxiety, and I take a lot of medicine. It's kind of fun if you pretend they're jellybeans. I have flaws, and I'm not ashamed of them.
