How Do I Chat?

My name is Kelsey Jacobs. I'm a member of the To Write Love On Her Arms street team. I've cut before and I've been doing it again and I don't know what to do. I feel alone. Even when I'm with my friends. I feel like no one gets me, like no one cares. I'm so lost and I can't figure anything out. I can barely think straight. Any advice?

I think you are the most amazing person for what you do. More people need to be informed of this, they just never take the time. I know for personal experience that many, many people ignore it..and it sucks, but it's how people are. They acknowledge the things that don't mean so much, then they ignore the super important things, like saving a life. I thank you so much for what you've done, and what you will continue to do. Self-injury is a very, very hard thing to get away from. People like you make it that much easier.
