Silent Avenue

Our alternative pop/rock band Silent Avenue is currently trying to find a singer and second guitarist, preferably between the ages of 14-19. (We are all 17). We are primarily looking for a female singer but are definitely still interested in trying out male singers. Our influences include bands like We Are The In Crowd, Mayday Parade, There For Tomorrow, Paramore, Jimmy Eat World, YouMeAtSix, VersaEmerge, Tonight Alive, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, etc. We have a couple of demo's recorded, and also have some songs we've already written (some are not complete) but they may be able to give you an idea of what we are going for (some are made using Guitar Pro, but are good enough quality to get the idea.) http://soundcloud.com/zeke-mountain/sets/zekemountain Aaron (drummer), Kris (bassist), and myself Zeke (guitarist), have all had experience in past bands. Aaron and I recently left Colour Collision (www.facebook.com/colourcollision) to focus on starting this band. I used to be in a band called Static Embrace (www.myspace.com/staticxembrace), and recorded/produced all their music. Kris has two previous bands, the most recent being Last Bastion (www.myspace.com/lastbastionrock), of which I was also in. This has also ended due to our guitarist moving to Canada. We have all had gigging/touring experience (including our bassist moving to the UK with the first version of Last Bastion). Music is our passion and we really want to get a move on into the music industry and start playing, touring, and just really trying to make it.
