ORGY IN HOBOKEN!
Born and raised in Zootown (a.k.a. Missoula), Montana. I've grown up in a very open-minded and cultured environment, always surrounded by art of all kinds: paintings, music, literature. My dad had his big book shelf of nonfiction texts such as psychology books and encyclopedias, while my mom had her collection of the classics: The Odyssey, The Iliad, David Copperfield, The Poems of Robert Frost, Lord of the Rings, etc. My two older brothers and I are very close, and I don't remember any true sibling rivalry. I think growing up around so many guys is part of why I'm not girly. I'm grateful to have been saved from years of mascara and the color pink.
Music is the ultimate for me. It's a universal language. I find it very strange that some people say they don't really like/care about music. It seems like everyone has at least one song, maybe even one freakin' chord that means something to them, makes them feel something. I love singing, and I play guitar a tiny bit. I also love writing lyrics and poetry. It doesn't sound that original, but it's the truth. Most of the time I sorta live in my head, thinking up stories and imagining meeting my favorite bands, things like that. What were they thinking when they wrote this song? Stuff like that. I'm also into photography and acting (on stage and screen). Movies are freakin' cool, and I think a lot of people don't give them enough credit as an art form. There's more stuff out there than the commercial bullshit.
