01:16 AM on 02/13/10 | Yeah it turns out they're in LA while I'm in Portland by a few days, and then shortly after I fly back to LA they're playing in Portland. The gods must be mocking me somewhere. It just seems too meticulously planned.
It's entirely possible for me to get lost within Powell's for extended periods of time, I gotta say. I usually just end up exploring the city with friends, though. I doubt I'll even have it fully covered by the end of the schoolyear, haha. And thanks for the compliment. :) Don't feel too bad about LC. They rejected several of my best friends who were just as qualified as anyone in our student body, so to me they're just kind of selective douches. | | Reply | Wall-to-Wall |

08:12 AM on 02/11/10 | L&C's average is definitely not 4.0, believe me, haha. But it isn't particularly sports-driven as much as academic, so I can see why it'd be hard to get into their program - it looks selective. And yes I have, actually, just once. But I couldn't get in, because after five you need to be over 21, as the bar opens up. I might go back one day over the weekend.
Definitely go see Copeland. I'll actually be flying home just before their Portland show, but then they're coming to LA, so I'll luckily get to catch the tour. I don't think there are many shows within the next month I plan on going to, but if Coheed and Circa start touring and wind up here before I'm home, I can't miss it. | | Reply | Wall-to-Wall |

03:58 AM on 11/26/09 | If you've never listened to Say Anything, listen to Is A Real Boy and then listen to the new Self Titled one.
Yeah, I always tell myself I need to write more reviews, and then just never get around to it. Maybe I'll change that sometime.
And fuck those two clowns. | | Reply | Wall-to-Wall |

09:55 AM on 08/05/09 | Did you just bitchslap my beer? I haven't seen them in a while. They were using "Get Snakebit" last time I saw them. That's pretty epic, those guys are crazy. I can never get off of work to go to shows. I'm going to see Closure in Moscow on the 19th of October. I'm jealous you get to see them TWICE in a month. | | Reply | Wall-to-Wall |
