 Hey Kelly,
I'm seriously considering driving up to Buffalo for the show on the 3rd and maybe hang out for a day or two possibly to visit with you and the guys....maybe see the studio, see where you are on the album, or entertain the musings of the Pickle Factory! Heh! I'm still looking at the cost and getting myself stoked about the drive.....it's a long way from Biloxi, MS. Although it would be more than worth seeing you guys, that's a long time to pay attention to the road, stay awake, and be entertained while driving. Try 18hrs. drive-time! Whew, that's a ways! But I have the time off and although I'm not gonna fly (over $1000 RT) I could conceievably drive in a day or two!
I was gonna leave on the 31st of December and spend a couple of days with my best friend in Nashville and then make the rest of the trip on the 2nd, but only if the roads aren't iced over (which they probably will be). Otherwise it might be in my best interest to make it a two-dayer from Nashville so I can be sure and make the gig! I'm going to spend today and tomorrow looking at the possiblity.
But I just wanted to touch base with you and make sure you were serious about my staying with you at your place. Do you have enough room? I don't want to get in the way or seriously put you out, but that would be not only a serious $$ saver but it would be awesome to hang out with you for a couple of days!
So let me know what's up and I'll get back in touch with you when I have a better idea of where I am on this trip thing.
