How did you find that EP...
Oh God... How about I give you a better recording of the song, while I give you the intro riff.
It's just kind of a picking pattern on Am, C, and G. You strike the A string, open, as a bass note (this will remain, so the progression goes Am, C, G, G) then pluck the C on the B string, and then pick the A on the g string. You pull off the 2nd fret of the G string (an A) when you pluck it in the Am shape. Then you strike the C on the A string, and so on, with those chord shapes up to the G.
With the G, you strike the bass (G), then (in the G major chord shape, where you also add the "D" on the B string) you pluck the e string, b string, g string on the 'fast' picking, then strike the bass again, and pluck the b string, and g string (I believe... been a while on this song.)
I think I might bring this song back, and re-record it. Thanks for listening (although I'm alarmed this EP is 'public'... haha.) and if you'd like to take a listen to my current band, feel free.
I'm also working on some more solo material, which is far better than most of the crap on that EP.
Where can I hear your music? Also, would you be interested in working on 'remixing' the acoustic version of Gold Digger? Adding beats and noises and what not. I'll have a better recording of that for you, too, if you're interested.
