Jess

I decided when I was very little that I wanted to be a star. I don’t mean an actress, or a singer, although the world would much better place if I could carry a tune. And I don’t mean like the chocolate Milky Way Magic Stars either; although, one of them used to be called Jess. I wanted to be like those mysterious, twinkling lights in the night sky. Of course, I can’t actually be a star. I live in a small village kind of near Leeds. It's the birthplace of the guy who discovered oxygen. There's a statue of him in the town square. It's the kind of place where people get excited when someone gets their house re-painted. It's alright I guess. But that doesn't mean I plan on staying here any longer than I have to. I want to see more of the world; New York, Hollywood, Tokyo, Rome, Venice, Paris, even London since I haven't been there yet. Ideally I'd see all these places from a tour bus, but if I can't find a band willing to take me I'll find my own way there. In case you can't tell from that, I want to work in music. I decided after watching 'The Boat That Rocked' that I wanted a radio show. It's a pretty good film. You should watch it. I love sunny weather, and thunderstorms in summer. But I don't really like the rain. I adore gigs, or concerts. They're always fun. I like to meet the bands after the gigs too. I'll be the one who stays and chats to the guitarist untill realising that my friends have already left for the train.
