Purevolume has posted a video with artists talking about the ten year anniversary of Taking Back Sunday's Where You Want To Be. I'm unconvinced some of the bands are referring to the right album in the interviews, but still kinda cool -- hit the replies to see for yourself.

DLSL Design Co.'s ongoing Covers series saw its third release yesterday, this time offering three alternate artwork prints of Taking Back Sunday records (previously he's done blink-182 and Brand New). Tell All Your Friends, Where You Want To Be and Louder Now were the inspirations this time around - check them out in the replies. They're available for purchase in his Etsy store.

On a recent podcast with Voice & Verse, Shaun Cooper revealed that Warner Brothers wanted Taking Back Sunday to re-record Tell All Your Friends.
The label came in and said, “I know the bass and drums are basically done with the record, but how about you give us four of five more songs?” And at the time he was saying write four or five more songs, the dude was also saying why don’t you guys re-record Tell All Your Friends so they could make it a double CD? We’re going, “Are you nuts?”

Taking Back Sunday recently did a Reddit AMA. Of course they were asked about Brand New.
We have no relationship with them. Our booking agent has tried to get to get us a tour together but they always say no. When writing songs together there is always going to be some sort of disagreements. But we fight way less then ever.

We recently interviewed Taking Back Sunday vocalist Adam Lazzara about Happiness Is, which will be released through Hopeless Records on Tuesday.
I think we went with Happiness Is because it’s kind of a blanket statement about where the band is right now. We were much more comfortable writing with each other this time around and there wasn’t any kind of outside influence as we were writing and recording. I think it just speaks a lot to where Taking Back Sunday is right now.

So we've already let you know about Taking Back Sunday and The Used new co-headlining tour this Spring, but we didn't tell you about Applauze. You can preorder ticket bundles through the company, which only charges a $2 service charge plus you can get either one of the band's new albums for $7.
Applauze Web platform = Ticket price + $2 service fee + $7 either album = $9 extra which is the right around the average on the regular service fee. On the mobile app they also have $2 service fee, but fans get can both albums for the price of one or $7 per pair of tickets. Also - the app gives you $5 credit for every person you get to sign up, which can give you the best possible savings.

Check out a single review I wrote on my blog for Taking Back Sunday's new single, "Flicker, Fade." You can read it in the replies.
”Flicker, Fade” possesses the sincerity that made me fall in love with Taking Back Sunday in the first place, with its eruptive and incredibly catchy chorus sandwiched with the band’s mastery of soft/loud/soft dynamics, as John Nolan delivers his impassioned yells buoyed the song’s chaotic outro.

Adam Lazzara's solo track from the upcoming Our Voices split can be heard on Fuse.
"I spend so much time with my acoustic guitar but I haven't taken the opportunity to release any of that material until now," Lazzara tells Fuse. "The bare bones for this song were written while I was living in Texas but it didn't come together until I got the offer to be on Our Voices. 'Because It Works' is as honest as can be and marks, hopefully, the first of many more to come

Shaun Cooper of Taking Back Sunday talked with Pop-Break about Riot Fest, the recording of their new album and more.
It’s kind of hard to see where they’re gonna come out because they still haven’t been mixed, so we haven’t really heard full versions. The stuff with Sapone had a few more electronic elements and the stuff with Marc Hudson was a little bit more rock oriented with more organic kind of songs. So we’re just trying to see how it’s all going to fit together. And we don’t know exactly how many songs are going to make it on the record. We’re just going to try and really make it the most potent record we can. If that’s an eight song record, nine song record, ten song record… I...
