Alex DiVincenzoListen to Blue of Colors and go see Godzilla.
Zac DjamoosMidtown and Saosin.
Sean RizzoI dove head-first back into The Hoodies through their awesome b-sides album. Few things in life are better than finding a bunch of old b-sides from a broken up band you've loved since high school. I was really upset that "Slumber Inc." got lost from the internet, and honestly it would have...

Kyle HuntingtonAfter having the best night of my "live music life" this week, nothing but Gambles for those fans of Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan or Nick Cave. This new article by Geoff Rickly sums it up pretty well (aside from the cost aspect) too.
Jake JenkinsYoung Thug, Antwon, and Lil Durk all week.
Alex DiVincenzoSometimes you just have to write 750+ words about the soundtrack to 1998's awful Godzilla.

Lueda Alia Arms & Sleepers' new single "Hurry Slowly" was the perfect tune to drive home to last night. And East Forest's music was the best to fall asleep to later on.
Jake DenningDon Broco is one of the best bands in the U.K., and they're going to EXPLODE in the States real soon.

We've never posted about Swedish rock duo Johnossi on AP.net, but the band just released its new album, Transitions, in the U.S. this week. Unfortunately I won't be able to hash out a full review of the album, but I felt like it should be posted about because I think it will interest some readers. The LP stands out because of its huge-sounding guitar work and nuanced rhythm section; it gives me vibes of straightforward rock and roll, garage rock, indie rock and gloomy, hazy pop all at once. There are a few music videos in the replies, which include album highlights "Into The Wild" and "Gone Forever," so check those out if you're interested. Transitions is available on iTunes.

I've been enjoying this Sir Sly band quite a bit. Stream their latest EP in the replies or grab it on iTunes for three bucks.

Thomas NassiffI never do these recommendations, but listen to Invalids if you're into mathy emo. The guitar work here is insane.
Jake DenningThe new albums from The Word Alive, Slaves, and The Amity Affliction are just as awesome as you're hoping they are. Pre-order them now.
Kyle HuntingtonBen Frost's A U R O R A and Catfish and The Bottlemen's new single "Kathleen".
Jake JenkinsGoing to be listening to a lot of DJ Rashad today. RIP.
Zac DjamoosI've been listening to...
