Bands that are fun loving and kind of chill are always talked about in conjunction with the seasons, which is bogus. Because really, the only thing less interesting than talking about the weather is writing about it, so we won't do that. Instead what we'll do is introduce you to the laid-back hazy-pop cool dudes in No Nets. Their new album, Affable & Ready For Small Talk drops on May 20th, but right here this very moment we have the organ-tinged, beautiful people indie grunge of "Bonnie Tyler." Weird announcement to have to make ... but, I just got word that a certain vodka company didn't like the name "ABSOLUTExclusive" and so we're going to have to change it. Seriously. I think it's hilariously stupid, but ... not my call. I spent a few seconds debating if we should just go with something like "GREYGOOSExclusives" or maybe go with a whiskey brand? Since it's obviously alcohol related. Maybe all go buy these shirts in protest? In the end I talked to staff and we decided to just call the section "exclusives." So, we'll be making those changes shortly where we can and I'll be buying my vodka from companies that don't have more money and lawyers than common sense.
