"I'm really happy with how this came together,” says Gordon. “The whole idea was hatched and executed within the span of the week. We wanted to do something simple as opposed to overly conceptual. “500 Miles” is a song about coming home, so we thought it would be fitting to keep with that theme and highlight aspects of my day to day life in Indiana. Not included is the 6 hours a night I spend watching Batman the Animated Series and listening to Gucci Mane."

Rock photographer Ryan Russell, perhaps known best around these parts as the creator of Nervous Energies, previously announced that he would be releasing a photo book titled Continental Obscura: From Birmingham to Bellingham via No Sleep Records. The label has announced a February 11th release date for the book, which will also include a bonus 7-inch; the bands on the 7" have not yet been announced.
