Johnny Foreigner have officially invaded the US. The band has signed to Lame-O Records. Columbia Records, the Sony Music subsidiary run by chairman Rob Stringer, has signed the twosome, a rep for the label confirms, marking She & Him's exit from independent label Merge Records. A new album is expected in the fall.
According to sources, Stefani, 44, and No Doubt, the band she fronts, were being courted by multiple managers before inking with Azoff. The singer and No Doubt recently parted ways with Jim Guerinot's Rebel Waltz Management, their manager since 1998. Azoff's other clients include the Eagles, Christina Aguilera, Steely Dan, Van Halen, Chelsea Handler, and Cassadee Pope, in addition to the many comics signed with Levity.

Gitter joined Razor & Tie in 2012 and has signed a variety of acts including rising rock outfit Starset and established legends such as HIM and Finch. He was also instrumental in the signing of Chiodos. Paper + Plastick Records has signed Minneapolis-based rock act And We Danced (featuring former Cadillac Blindside frontman Zaq Zrust and former guitarist for The Stereo and The Jealous Sound, Jeremy Tappero). The band will release their debut seven-song release, Back To The Middle, on July 1 via the label and a new song called "Goodnight Toronto" can be streamed in the replies. Secret Voice (Jeremy Bolm of Touché Amoré's label) will be releasing the debut 7” EP from Oakland, CA’s No Limbs. The band recorded the EP with Jack Shirley at The Atomic Garden (Deafheaven, Comadre) in January and delivers seven blistering fast in and out songs in eight minutes. The record is set for a September release. For now enjoy a song off their latest cassette tape Belch called “Mind Vise."
