Thom Yorke (Radiohead) just released a new solo album called Tomorrow's Modern Boxes for sale on BitTorrent for $6. There's also a new video for the lead single "A Brain In A Bottle," available for free here. Hit the replies to read a letter Yorke penned about the release. You think this format is going to work? Do you just wish it was a Radiohead album instead?

There was a time when I owned newfoundglory2.com and updated it with news about the band because I didn't think their official site had enough information or media on it. I think that was sometime around 1999. I checked once after I let the domain expire and it was redirecting to some spam site; however, I believe it's now officially dead and gone. While I doubt that I'll be playing necromancer on it anytime soon, I can use this site to premiere a track from New Found Glory's upcoming album Resurrection. If you hit the replies you can stream "Stubborn" and be pulled back in time to when pop-punk and AOL Instant Messenger went hand in hand. Like what you hear? Make sure you've got the...

Hayley Williams did an interview with WellandGood.com about beauty products she loves.
Still, she admits there isn’t a mascara in the world that can stand up to a Paramore concert (AKA blaring lights and 25,000 fans screaming at you), be it natural or not. “I don’t care about having raccoon eyes, it’s a rock show, not a magazine cover,” she says.

Our interview with St. Lucia can be found here. They kick off The Night Comes Again Tour tonight in Pittsburgh.
For many years while I was into [rock] music, I felt sort of embarrassed by the fact that I liked 80s music when I was growing up. I shunned it a bit, 80s music or world music or whatever. Out of that frustration of hitting this brick wall, I started opening up a bit more again to stuff that was maybe considered guilty pleasures. I would force myself to not feel guilty about listening to it. I just became more open about music. If it made me feel good and I liked it, why should I feel embarrassed about liking it?

New Found Glory's new song "Stories of a Different Kind" can be heard here.
It’s directed more toward younger bands I meet, and all they talk about is business and numbers, and how many kids showed up to the show, and never once do they mention, “Me and my friend took this stick of dynamite and blew up a Porta-Potty!” which is what we would do back then. No matter how popular we ever were, the focus was always to be sincere and write music from the heart, and be grateful for the career you were given. This whole scene has been building for a long time. If you’re only in it for drawing kids and making money, and if you’re not in it because it’s your passion, then you’re ruining your...

Probably when I forgot the lyrics on Conan O’ Brien, that was the big switch in my life, going from ultimately a good level of confidence to really embodying a deep-seeded hatred of myself and severely disliking who I was. The next ten years were pretty fucking dark, I think a lot of things are made about bands writing angsty lyrics and...

Sanluisobispo.com has posted more details on ex-New Found Glory member Steven Klein's legal case.
Prosecutors have not alleged that any physical contact occurred, and the supposedly underage girls have never been identified by investigators. Klein has pleaded not guilty to all charges. On Thursday, Deputy District Attorney Julie Antos played five videos in the courtroom for Superior Court Judge John Trice, Klein and his attorney Ilan Funke-Bilu that allegedly showed audio-less, screen-captured video of Klein carrying on sexually explicit activity with girls on the stranger-based chat website Omegle.

Urban Outfitters are now the world's biggest seller of vinyl records. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.
“Music is very, very important to the Urban customer… in fact, we are the world’s number one vinyl seller,” Calvin Hollinger, the company’s chief administrative officer, said at a meeting with analysts yesterday. He explained that instead of having thousands of vinyl albums online, the company has a system in place that lets it seamlessly offer inventory from roughly 100 vendors without actually owning that inventory, a model it might use with Anthropologie’s home goods.

Amy Fleisher Madden, founder of former Fiddler Records, has written a book and launched a Kickstarter.
A Million Miles is a novel written by Amy Fleisher Madden. It is a no-holds-barred coming of age story told with the burgeoning indie/emo music scene of the late ‘90s set as the backdrop. My nickname "Fiddler" came from the record label that I started when I was 16, Fiddler Records. As Fiddler Records I released 25 records in ten years. I worked with several artists that went on to sell hundreds of thousands of records. If you want me to name drop, here are the few you might have heard of: Dashboard Confessional, Name Taken, The Higher, Juliette Lewis and The Licks, Recover, The...
