Self Defense Family got into a van accident.
So, our shit crashed on black ice. Everyone is ok, gear is ok, but van is janky and shitted on. We’re considering all options for the next few days. Van rental for a week? Rideshare to the next three shows until we get our van back? Bullet train? Living in Seattle?

Azealia Banks really wants to be dropped from her label, Universal Music. A series of tweets explaining why have been collected over at Stereogum.
I'm literally begging to be dropped from Universal. I'm tired of having to consult a group of old white guys about my black girl craft. they don't even know what they're listening for or to.

Macklemore sent a text to Kendrick Lamar apologizing for winning best rap album at the Grammys last night.
My text to Kendrick after the show. He deserved best rap album… I’m honored and completely blown away to win anything much less 4 Grammys. But in that category, he should have won IMO. And that’s taking nothing away from The Heist. Just giving GKMC it’s proper respect.. With that being said, thank you to the fans. You’re the reason we were on that stage tonight. And to play Same Love on that platform was a career highlight. The greatest honor of all. That’s what this is about. Progress and art. Thank you. #grammys

Check out a single review I wrote on my blog for Taking Back Sunday's new single, "Flicker, Fade." You can read it in the replies.
”Flicker, Fade” possesses the sincerity that made me fall in love with Taking Back Sunday in the first place, with its eruptive and incredibly catchy chorus sandwiched with the band’s mastery of soft/loud/soft dynamics, as John Nolan delivers his impassioned yells buoyed the song’s chaotic outro.
