Today we're premiering what's bound to be another fantastic release from Count Your Lucky Stars Records. Denton, Texas' Two Knights will be releasing its new EP, A Lot of Bad Things Happened, But We're Still Here, on July 30th and I'm totally stoked on this. The Texas duo chaotic brand of this indie-punk sound we all love right now is unleashed over the course of the EP's seven tracks. It's raw, vulnerable, and catchy and you absolutely need to check it out in the replies (or over at the band's AP.net profile). You can also pre-order it on 10" vinyl here.

Chuck Ragan will be doing a seven show solo tour, in between and including the Riot Fest Chicago on September 15th and Riot Fest Denver on September 22nd. Jamestown Revival will support. Dates are in the replies.
Fuse recently interviewed Jason Butler of letlive. about the band's new album and gives details behind the album's production. Additionally, it's revealed that Lionel Robinson will be joining the band full-time as their drummer.
With the album and the production, we believe[d] in being organic and authentic. So for us to write a record that not only wouldn’t sound similar live, but also wouldn’t be performed [in the studio] as it sounds on the record...at this point in our career, it would be untrue to who we are as a band.

By intentions I mean that we wanted to push oursleves, experiment, and build songs that we though had a unique place in the world. Not everyone would agree with me on this, but I think that music like any art has it’s basic likable elements, but really makes a piece of music, or art, or whatever, special is the elements of it that make it unique.
For example, music piracy has fallen from 1.2 billion songs in 2008 to 210 million last year. About 60 million movies and TV shows were pirated last year, compared to 125 million and 135 million five years ago. In short, access to paid content, whether via streaming or a la carte services, is slowly whittling away the impetus to pirate.
Now, Pete Wentz reveals to Rolling Stone they recorded "eight or nine" songs over two marathon nights, with Adams directing the sessions. "It was punk rock – the stuff that makes you want to kick the shit out of your bedroom at your parents' house," says Wentz. "It's impossible to deny the spirit of what was happening there." The session came together through Butch Walker, their mutual friend and collaborator. Wentz says he was thrilled with working with Adams: "I used to like listen to his stuff growing up!"
