The trip to Australia was planned during our European tour last summer. The band knew the chances of Travis overcoming his fear of flying, which was magnified after the horrible plane crash in 2008, would be a challenge, but we wanted to play for our fans in Australia nonetheless. The three of us tried all measures to get us all there in full form. Travis has been working to overcome his fear of flying. The Pirate Bay has threatened a lawsuit against Finnish anti-piracy group CIAPC for - get this - copyright infringement. A spokespirate stated: "We are outraged by this behavior. People must understand what is right and wrong. Stealing material like this on the internet is a threat to economies worldwide."

Antique Records has announced the April 6th release of a 7" pressing of Maura's Outlier EP. The pressing is limited to 200 copies and available for preorder for only $5 here. The first single, "My Shoes Fit," can be heard here.

The Stick People features guitarist Mike Stone, known for his work with Queensryche and Peter Criss, and former Ozzy Osbourne drummer Frankie Anthony. Despite the members' metal background, the band's sound is more akin to '90s alternative. Their debut album, Madness, was produced by Dito Godwin (No Doubt, Motley Crue) and comes out April 23th via EFM Records.
