Update: Amazon UK has a listing for "Rollin' and Tumblin'" to be released as a single on Wednesday.
I was at The Gaslight Anthem's show last night in Clifton Park, NY, and among their 23-song set that spanned their entire discography, Brian Fallon announced that there would be a new song from Get Hurt debuted "probably" next week. Check out the set list from the two-hour show in the replies, and after watching their opener, White Denim, I suggest you check them out if you like jam-heavy rock and roll.
I just got the masters back two or three weeks ago, I hadn't listened to them in a while. But now they sound good to me, I mean it sounds exactly like what we set out to do. Initially, when you first hear it, you're like, “Oh, this is different.” There's also some comfort songs on there -- some that I think sound similar to previous records. But we try to put a little extra in there so it didn't sound too out there. We didn't go totally insane. It's leading people along, not frustrating anyone.
The Gaslight Anthemwill release its fifth studio album, Get Hurt, on August 19th via Island Records. The cover art and a teaser video featuring a new song clip can be seen in the replies. According to information on the preorder pages (more here), the standard edition of the album will be 12 songs and the deluxe will be 15. There are also a few tour dates in the replies.

"The whole record was like, 'What can we create as a band using anything at our disposal, as long as we do it organically, without computers or samples?'" Fallon says. "If we wanted to try a synth, we'd try a synth. If we wanted to try a drum loop, we would do that."
It might grow on some people who might not like it at first or say, “This is too weird, it’s not what I expected.” They’re entitled to that. It’s fair to feel that way, but once you sit with it, after the initial shock, you’ll find similarities to the old records. It still sounds like us.y
With a healthy team I don't see them not competing again for the for the A.L. East. I think Tampa’s real strong again and I think Boston is really strong again and you know they’re going to be right there in the mix at the end. I’m a Yankees fan. I gotta go for it -- of course they could win the World Series this year. Why not?
