Although taking their name from the iconic The Get Up Kids, Olympia, Washington's Four Minute Mile fit perfectly in the modern pop-punk scene. Octaves will be releasing its Bridge Nine debut (and one of my favorite heavy releases of the year), Which Way The Wind Blows, next week. Today, we're bringing you an exclusive premiere of one of the album's finest tracks, "Poppycock." It's a chaotic blend of hardcore and melody and if you fancy yourself a fan of bands like Pianos Become The Teeth and La Dispute, then you'll adore this. Check it out in the replies or over at the band's AP.net profile. If you like the tunes emerging from your computer's speakers - and you will - make sure you pre-order the LP here.

Plenty of bands show that youthful raw energy right out of the gate, but the special ones know to harness it within strong songwriting. Ohio five-piece Envoi is one of those bands that just gets it. By channeling all the best parts of Paramore's All We Know Is Falling, The Audition's Controversy Loves Company, and You Me At Six's Sinners Never Sleep, their new EP Changes proves to be an absolute blast. We've got full stream for you on the band's AP.net profile and in the replies - pick up the EP tomorrow.

Everyone deserves a second chance and Random Holiday are a prime example of this mantra. Unbeknownst to them, I had the chance of seeing them live awhile back and thinking there was a lot of room for improvement. Improve they did...tenfold. Space To Grow is the band's upcoming debut LP and these high schoolers have channeled influences from recent pop-punk heavyweights like Forever Came Calling to put together an impressive full-length. Listen to "17" in the replies and leave your thoughts as well.
Seattle's To The Wind are gearing up for their debut LP, Empty Eyes, coming out this spring on Pure Noise Records. Produced and engineered by Sam Pura (The Story So Far, The American Scene) at The Panda Studios in Fremont, CA, the hardcore outfit will be sure to follow right in the steps of contemporaries such as The Ghost Inside, Stick To Your Guns, and more. Listen exclusively to the track "Hollow" in the replies.

I'm so excited to introduce you guys to Darkhorse, a post-hardcore project from Rochester, NY. The band will be releasing its debut LP The Engineer later this year, which was produced by A Wilhelm Scream's Trevor Reilly and Mike Supina. Combining hard-hitting riffs and powerful vocals from Ian Mclean, this is for fans seeking the aggressive nature of Thrice, the technicality of A Wilhelm Scream, and the heaviness of Deftones. Listen to "I Saw The Devil" in the replies.

Check it out in the replies and don't forget to pre-order Young New Englandhere. Also, don't forget that...

Today we're so excited to stream the debut EP from Boston up and coming act Paris. The self-titled EP from the young act shows an extreme amount of poise which is all lead by the incredibly dynamic Lynn Gunnulfsen fronting the band. Guitarist Alex Babinski creates hard hitting and spacy guitar leads while Brian MacDonald (Bass) and Brad Griffin (Drums) provide the backbone for the band. This is recommended for fans of Conditions and Circa Survive and I promise you this band will be making waves very soon. The EP drops tomorrow but you can stream it now on the band's AP.net profile.

With Daytrader's sudden demise, I feared we'd lost one of the scene's most promising vocalists. Silly me - Tym had a plan all along. Enjoy their new song "On and On" in the replies, as well as the full press release and album art.

At the show, the band sold a benefit t-shirt in which all proceeds went to the victims of the Sandy Hook shooting. Head to the replies to check out the video.
If you dig the chill and laid-back stylings of bands like Minus The Bear and Real Estate, then you should spend the next three minutes checking out our premiere of Belgrade's new song, "Protest."
