Millerton, New York rockers Take One Car have set off on their 2013 Spring tour. The 15 date tour will see the Millerton quartet play shows across 11 states. They have also begun writing their follow up to 2012ís Itís Going To Be A Nice Day. Head to replies to check out the dates.
Today, it's time to announce to our fans and friends that we're turning the last page of this particular chapter of our lives. We've solidified plans to tour our well-traveled asses off for one last year, until the end of 2013, at which time we will be not necessarily be moving on from the band, but changing our approach to what we do with the majority of our time. More specifically, we will no longer be touring year round, nor will we be touring much at all anymore. We have decided to step away from the table before we get sick of our favorite meal; we've seen enough bands over the years grow old playing the same songs for...
Do you have a few grand to blow? Do you like Wilco? Are you a musician looking for your big break? If you answered yes to any of those questions, good news: you can bid on a recording session with Jeff Tweedy here.
I pushed back the album sales round-up a few days so I could see if I could get some more sales numbers to include (didn't get much, sorry). Mumford & Sons' Babel remains at the top spot with 63,000 copies sold. Bruno Mars' Unorthodox Jukebox hits number two with 48,000 and Josh Groban was just behind at number three (41,000). Overall album sales totaled 5.46 million units, down 20% compared with the sum last week and down 13% compared with the comparable sales week of 2012. Year to date album sales stand at 44.58 million, down 7% compared to the same total at this point last year.

I recently interviewed Christian McAlhaney of Anberlin and he had this to say about the possibility of an Acceptance reunion. Look for the full interview early next week.
Thereís always been whispers of reunion stuff here and there. Basically, I think Jason is the last person everyone is waiting on. I donít even know what that would look like or what we would do, I just want to get the dialogue going because itís been awhile. I think a lot of people would like that, and I would like it too. There was never any closure for the guys in Acceptance. We just said we were done and never played any final shows or anything. There was just never any closure.
After taking a couple years off, Bronx, NY's Daly's Gone Wrong are currently working on a new EP titled Finding Your Heart. Head to the replies to listen to their first song since returning, "Ayy Cicci! Where's the Fuckin Wings?!" In an effort to create music they want to hear, the band combines elements of pop punk, ska and hardcore. "Let's sing it loud like we used to..."
We're back with a new "Jono Goes To The Movies" column from The Swellers' drummer Jonathan Diener, where he gives his thoughts and opinions on new (and old) movies. Do you have any movies you'd like him to review? Put your suggestions in the comments. Hit the replies to read his review of Silver Linings Playbook.

I haven't done any kind of "you should listen to..." posts in a long time, but that new EP from The 1975 has me inspired. You should check that out ... it's damn good. Then get into their lasttwo EPs as well.
According to the no-last-name writer "Adam" and "a source," Miranda Lambert has told her husband Blake Shelton to "keep away" from Cassadee Pope. I'm sorry, but I'm calling bullshit on this entire article -- the wording, the lack of any real detail, and it just being stupid. Furthermore, I've got "a source" that says it's all bullshit and I really just wanted a reason to vent after a shitty day. You can skip over this news post. It won't hurt my feelings.
3OH!3 will release its upcoming album Omens on June 18th. They will release a new single, titled "Back To Life," on March 5th. They are also doing something called "3oh3day" in which you can do these tasks to unlock stuff, check it out here.
