Remember Bloodhound Gang? Of course you don't, but Russia's Minister of Culture has banned the group from performing in his fine country and the band were pelted with eggs shortly thereafter. Apparently, Russians frown on bands putting the Russian flag in their pants. Who knew.
From the articleStill, Russia’s minister of culture, Vladimir Medinsky, wrote on Twitter that “these idiots are not going to perform” in Russia, and that he had spoken with the local authorities to halt the concert.

Kellin Quinn (Sleeping With Sirens) has responded to the controversy surrounding the Polaroid Tour Package his band is offering.
keep in mind Polaroid film is super expensive, your getting the ticket to the show, you get front row over anyone else.. If you only want to pay general admission then just do that. However, if you do like the idea of doing all these things included.. It's ONLY 80 dollars.. I would never charge someone money for just a picture with me.. I try and do anything and everything for my fans.. I do in fact have a family, and that family needs to be fed.. So thanks for supporting us and helping me continue to tour.. Without you there is no us! Love you Kellin

Black Flag co-founder Greg Ginn and SST Records are suing Flag, along with Henry Rollins, alleging Rollins and Keith Morris attempted to patent the Black Flag logo, and name in September of 2012, thus committing fraud.
He sued his 1979-mid 1980s bandmates Friday, seeking an injunction against their current tour, which kicked off in May and will stop in Los Angeles (pending this case) for FYF Fest on August 24. The suit describes the alleged infringement of the logo and name "Flag" as "a colorable imitation" that's "likely to cause confusion, mistake or deception among consumers."

Today we are launching the first-ever AP.net Fantasy Football Challenge! With the help of our friend Dan from The Wonder Years, we've set up 18 fantasy football leagues where you can get the chance to play with members from a bunch of different bands from our community. Each of the band members has picked a charity for their league to represent, and at the end of the football season, one winner will be chosen to receive all of the proceeds. Each entry requires a submission of $20 – again, all to go to charity at the end of the season. Throughout the season, we'll be posting weekly standings from each league, along with a "Start'Em, Sit'Em" column brought to you by one of our...

Say hello to your new favorite band, Little Big League. Today, we're premiering the band's spectacular Tiny Engines' debut, These Are Good People. Rolling in the vein of late 90's emo and indie guitar rock, the band is led by Michelle Zauner's intense, unique vocals that paint a picture of tension, impending danger, and vulnerability amongst the dark musicianship. It's absolutely one of my favorite releases of 2013 and I know a lot of users here will love this release. Check it out in the replies and pre-order it here and use the code "LBL20" to save 20% on the LP, which is gorgeous by the way.
