Morrissey has issued a statement regarding what Jimmy Kimmel said last night during Jimmy Kimmel Live.
I was disappointed with last night's Jimmy Kimmel Show wherein our smiling host managed to ridicule depression (70% of Americans have experienced depression according to the National Institute of Mental Health). He then found time to ridicule healthy eating (the obesity epidemic in the U.S. costs $147 billion per year in medical expenditure), and he also ridiculed the notion that animals should be entitled to the possession of their own lives. Furthermore, he found time to jokingly promote gun-ownership - hugely amusing for the parents at Sandy Hook, no doubt. He also promoted his...
Brian and Drew from Shone are on this week's Marvel podcast. Apparently there's a mention of Brand New toward the end, but I'm still listening to find it. Update: Brian says, at around the 1:50 minute left mark that, "it'll probably happen this year."

A group like the Sex Pistols would never again be allowed to slip through, and there is no such thing in 2013 as a popular artist who sets their own terms for success. Whether it be Beyoncé or Justin Bieber, we see singers who have absolutely nothing to offer anyone as they walk offstage clutching three Grammys in each hand.
PureVolume recently sat down with Brent Taddie (Crown The Empire) to discuss the band's quick rise and the storyline behind the band's latest album, The Fallout. Read it all here.
We’ve stayed true to them since day one, starting with the Limitless EP, where we started doing things like that and showing everyone that they could be limitless. We continued that on the second record, writing songs like “Venice” and “Evidence” that are about speaking out against bullies, standing up for yourself, and being your own person.
Let me remind you guys of something here. Throughout this entire year of touring with BOTDF, everyone who toured with them knows what that man does. Everyone knows how/who he is. But everyone is too scared of him to do a thing about it. I’ve had countless fans come up to me and tell me how rude he was and how creepy he was with them. I’ve seen many girls who were not of age with him and eventually on the bus with him. I’ve seen him treat his entire crew and band like animals. I’ve seen him...
