We recently interviewed ex-Against Me! bassist Andrew Seward about this newest musical project, which happens to be a band called Human Parts. The group is officially releasing it's self-titled debut next week on September 10th.
When I parted ways with Against Me! I kind of started working all day and when I’d come home my whole goal was to not just become a sloth and play video games or stuff like that. I wanted to be a good father and partner and just be creative whenever I could. And that’s what I did, I just started focusing and using my spare time to record.
Even though letlive. released its intense new album, The Blackest Beautiful, back in July, the band didn't get to properly celebrate it because they were on Warped Tour all summer. Patrick Stickles of Titus Andronicus recently toldMissoulian that the bands next album will be a 30 song rock opera and will include film accompaniment. The epic is inspired in part by The Birth of Tragedy and is the follow-up to last year's Local Business. You can pre-order the untitled record over a year in advance.
if it wouldn’t be too much trouble, if you could tweet to the twits who call themselves journalists(example Chris Martins of sit-and-Spin Magazine) that I FINISHED MY SET!!! I did my job, and they should do theirs too–They all miss the fact that there is a difference between the back-of-the-room-chatter that is simply annoying,–and the operatic drunken blather, or the heckling that is really just INTERRUPTING that makes it impossible for us to do our jobs. I hope your readers are already hip to the fact that they are consistently lied to… no apologies. -Fiona.

Check out the blistering "Rebirth" in the replies. A pre-order of the digital version of The Other Side is available.
Don't expect Justin Vernon to write another Bon Iver record anytime soon. He recently told TripleJ that he doesn't "really write songs anymore." Vernon's other project, Volcano Choir, released its new album, Repave, today.
"I don't really write songs anymore," he said. "The last Bon Iver record was a very 'sitting down with a guitar and writing' kind of record. I really have to be in a specific headspace to even begin to illuminate an idea that would create another Bon Iver record, and I'm just not there. I'm really honoured that Bon Iver gives me a platform to do whatever I want, but there's only so much time you can spend digging through yourself before you become insular. I'm not in...

Finally. My favorite time of the year is here - the leaves change colors, the wind gets a bit brisker for hoodie weather, and football is on television all weekend. Another perk of the fall is how many great albums are releasing this month and beyond. So check out our most anticipated albums for the month of September in the replies and let us know what you're really excited for in the ninth month of 2013.
