Rooney have unveiled the schedule for their forthcoming headlining tour, on which the quintet will feature support from The Polyphonic Spree and The Redwalls. The group will be touring in support of its latest release, Calling the World, which is available now via Geffen Records.
Ashlee Simpson's new single "Murder" can be heard in the replies. The track, which was reigned by famed producer Timbaland, and features a guest appearance from Gym Class Heroes' Travis McCoy, is set to appear on her upcoming release, which is slated for release this November via Geffen Records.
Sonic Youth's is releasing a b-sides and rarities album appropriately titled Destroyed Room: B-Sides And Rarities on December 12th. The tracklist for it has been announced, with the songs being handpicked by the band.

Jordan Schur has stepped down as the head of Geffen Records and formed a new label, an imprint of Interscope Records, Suretone Records. Jordan will oversee the careers of Weezer, The Cure, Rooney, New Found Glory and Angels And Airwaves.
Sound the Alarm will be featured in the "Download This" section in the upcoming Entertainment Weekly. The band is currently preparing for a tour of the Midwest and East Coast in April (the other bands on the tour are rumored to be Days Away and Rookie of the Year).
