You can currently stream half of the album on their PureVolume, which I highly recommend you do so you can get a glimpse into this great disc. Make sure you help the band out and buy your own personal copy (and maybe some extras for some relatives or friends) when it's released; you don't want to miss one of the albums that is for sure going to fall into my Top 10 of 2006.

And if you have before, but weren't too fond then, try again because the new sound is leaps ahead of the old stuff. I'm pretty confident in saying these guys are going to release one of the best albums this year and are definitely going places.

As we mentioned earlier, This Day & Age will be leaving Buffalo for Kansas next week in order to record their new album with producer Ed Rose; however, we just got word the band will be co-producing it with him. Also, I just had the oppurtunity to hear a couple more demos and my anticipation for this just keeps growing and growing -- this band has seriously outdone themselves. Expect big, beautiful things from these guys! Maybe, just maybe, you'll be able to hear some new music very soon right here at Absolutepunk.net!

This Day & Age fans should starting getting excited for their new material right ... about ... NOW! I just had the oppurtunity to hear a handful of demos, and this band has stepped it up to the thousandth degree. Some people are going to be very surprised with the direction the band has taken and will be in awe at how far they've come in regards to their songwriting. I have a very strong feeling that people who didn't take notice of this band or get into them with their last album will be coming around this time.
Jared Kaufman on 02/28/06 - 10:36 AM
This Day and Age has posted a previously unreleased version of "Be Thou My Vision" on their Myspace page. The song was recorded about a year ago with Aaron Marsh (Copeland), and will not be on the band's forthcoming new album.
