Revelation Records will be re-releasing Soul Search's 2013 7” EP Nothing But A Nightmare -- which was originally released on Back To Back Records and soon out of print. This version has been remixed by Taylor Young (Nails, Twitching Tongues), remastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege, and will be presented with brand new artwork. Look for a release later in 2014 along with the band's debut LP on Revelation.
There’s so much music out there; there’s so much stuff that sounds like Haim or CHVRCHES or Vampire Weekend that I’m full. The thing I’m hungry for is not that. I turn on the rock station in L.A. and it sounds like Disney commercial music. And I’m confused by that. The dude from Foster the People was literally a jingle writer. No disrespect, but for me to make that stuff was kind of out of the question.
Mogwai will reissueCome on Die Young on June 16th. The reissue includes over an hour of newly added material (demos, early recordings, unreleased tracks, rarities, the 2001 Travels in Constants Vol. 12 EP, and more).
An Aphex Twin album from 1994, titled Caustic Window, that never saw official release cropped up on Discogs recently, with a seller asking for more than $13,000 for their test press. After negotiations between Rephlex Records and the seller, it appears that a complicated deal to distribute 500 downloads via Kickstarter for about $16 has been established, with the physical copy being sold on eBay after the completion of the campaign. The last album of entirely new music from Aphex Twin was released in 2001.

Describing the origins of the project, Baldi told Exclaim!, "I woke up one morning hungover in Paris, which is where I usually live, and I just had a text on my phone that was like, 'Yo, wanna make a record together?' I was like, '...Okay!' And that was it. It sounded fun." Baldi said the process was "super easy" and that the songs will be released at some point.
