We are very happy to announce that we are finally doing a DVD for The Future Sequence. In this age we live in you can watch us play any of our songs live online. So we wanted to give our fans something a little different… an intimate live performance of us playing in a studio. It will be a wonderful experience and I hope you all enjoy it as much as we enjoy playing these songs.
Frank Turner will be releasing Last Minutes and Lost Evenings on October 2nd. This is a collection of songs hand picked by Frank to introduce new fans to his music. This will be bundled with a full DVD release of his Wembley show. Check the replies for the full press release.
Amir Bar-Lev's Re:Generation will open in select theaters across the country on February 16. The documentary follows five DJs/producers - Mark Ronson, DJ Premier, The Crystal Method, Pretty Lights and Skrillex - as they re-imagine music collaborating with influential artists. The out-of-print documentary by Don Letts, Punk: Attitude, is being re-released on January 11th. The documentary focuses on the 1970's culture movement, the bands involved and the people it influenced, including interviews with the likes of Mick Jones (The Clash), Siouxsie Sioux (Siouxsie and The Banshees), Thurston Moore (Sonic Youth), Henry Rollins (Black Flag) and more.
On September 7, Thrill Jockey will release 77 Boa Drum, a DVD of the 77-drummer concert orchestrated by Japanese group Boredoms. The event is documented along with behind-the-scenes rehearsal footage and interviews, and comes with a series of photo postcards not available in the Japanese edition. Suicidal Tendencies will release Live at the Olympic Auditorium, their first ever DVD, on January 26th via the band's Suicidal Records. The cover art and tracklisting for the 80-minute set can be seen in the replies.
