With Legendary, we were given a small taste of the "big leagues," the finer things, and the radio, and then bad timing led to the radio pulling the rug out from under us. Nothing we could do, but I knew I wanted more, so I put so much pressure on myself to write a bigger, better song. I felt trapped, and started avoiding making a new album by running away from it entirely.

The Word Alive lead vocalist Telle Smith was injured during a stage dive in Pomona. Band releases statement saying they will continue to play scheduled shows with Telle.
"WE WILL NOT BE MISSING ANY SHOWS DUE TO Telle Smith BREAKING RIBS AND HIS BACK... He won't be moving much though so if you can come out and go extra hard we would love that!! We told you that if TWA ever has missed a show it was because we absolutely couldn't play and this should prove that!"

According to sources, Concord Bicycle paid about $10 million for Fearless, which has about $15 million in annual revenue including a nice merchandising business and a small publishing catalog. The label's catalog including albums by Plain White T's, At The Drive-In, Bigwig, The Aquabats, and Sugarcult, while its current artist roster includes Pierce The Veil, Breathe Carolina, The Maine, Mayday Parade, The Word Alive, Motionless In White, Alesana, and Every Avenue. Fearless is expected to issue about 15 albums in the current year.

I think music is more of a therapeutic element to overcoming your problems, and at the end of the day it's you doing it. If we're helping you out, great, I'm glad that music in general can do that, because it's helped me, I've gotten over many things.
