Big D and the Kids Table recently witnessed a very tragic incident while on the road. You can read what the band had to say below.
Big D And The Kids Table UpdateThis is one tour update that I wish I didnít have to write. I donít actually have to, but I think it will bring some resolution and closure into my life, so here goes.

Yesterday, we were driving from Albuquerque, New Mexico to Colorado Springs, Colorado and we saw something terrible. The highway was in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by endless plains and amazing mountains in the distance.

JR was driving. Out of nowhere, the Jeep Liberty in front of us swerved left and then back right. Then the car flipped. I felt like...

Suburban Legends Van Disaster DetailsHello to all of our fans and friends, Derek here. We are writing to inform all of you of a tragic loss that has happened to Suburban Legends a little over 2 hours ago at 4:30am.

We were stationed on a day off from our tour at our family friend's house in St. Louis. We all went to sleep and were woken by Phil who was on the phone with his girlfriend, and caught a glimpse of our van (paked out front) on fire.

We all rushed outside and put the flames out with a hose and the fire...

Kevin Devine's car was broken into yesterday, and a bunch of his gear was stolen.
My name's Kevin Devine. I'm a musician from Brooklyn.

Two acoustic guitars were stolen from my car on N. 11th & Bedford in Williamsburg, Brooklyn between 1pm and 7pm yesterday (Wed, Jun 14th). I'm posting this hoping that someone might come across them being sold somewhere, and that that someone might let me know. It'd be much appreciated, and I'd try and figure some way to reward your kindness.

One is a Gibson J-185 acoustic/electric. It's a blonde lacquered finish with a cutaway and pearl inlays along the fretboard. It has a built-in EQ. It'll look pretty new - just got it storebought...

Skratch3's van recently caught fire and was completely destroyed while on tour. The accident occurred Tuesday morning while leaving Winnipeg, Manitoba on route to Regina. A message from the band can be found below, and a few, low-quality, cell-phone pictures can be found in the replies.
At Least We Didn't Crash..... we definitely burned

After leaving Winnipeg and a porch full of smiling people (probably making sure we were actually leaving) we hit the Trans Canada on route to Regina. Still nursing the headaches and hang overs from the night before, everyone was jolted by a quick pull over and Woody yelling at everyone to "get out of the van now!"

What looked like the annoying...

QuoteWithout giving any of you details that you don't need... The last 2 days have been the hardest days for this band ever. People have done everything that we never wanted to do. We've been on the road now for a very very long time, and last night was the culmination of it all... We are VERY sorry for the actions we took, but we just couldn't control it. I walked off the stage because I felt embarrasses of it all, I didn't want to come back out, but I came back out for you guys? The kids! On the first leg of the Arab Strap tour, supporting band A Whisper In The Noise were attacked last night, March 28, at knifepoint by two thugs at the Neumos show in Seattle (located at 925 E. Pike Street).

Two drunk/drugged out-of-their mind males approached the AWITN van as they were loading the last piece of gear into the truck and enjoying one last smoke before hitting the road. Minutes after Arab Strap left the venue the youths approached the band. They attempted to grab gear and gain entry onto the van. When confronted by the AWITN bandmembers and tour manager, one of the perpetrators pulled a knife and the other sucker punched the tour manager knocking out his front teeth. They...

We Are the Fury was recently involved in a scary wreck:
Message From Jeremy Of We Are The FurtyHey everyone. Friday afternoon we were involved in a serious accident while driving through Colorado. We crashed our van around the Vail Passage area of route 70 near Breckenridge. We were driving through a heavy snowstorm on our way home from Los Angeles when we hit ice and lost control of our vehicle and slammed into the guardrail. Surprisingly, the guardrail held and we didn't fall down the five hundred foot mountain drop, which is a miracle. As we were sliding toward the edge our trailer jackknifed and snapped off. This prevented the van from flipping and rolling over the side of the...
