Read a new Fishbone interview here.
Quote from Interview"The footage in the film tells a story of 30 years of Fishbone, from junior high at the age of 13 and them touring up until a year ago. A lot of the filming we did, which was the present-day portrait of the band, covers about 3½ years but due to the generosity of other filmmakers and fans, we were able to take footage shot in the early ‘80s and tried to make sure we covered the whole 30 years and weave it together like a quilt."

In an interview with Reese Roper (Brave Saint Saturn), he states that he hopes to have a Five Iron Frenzy DVD in stores by Christmas.
From the InterviewRight now, we are still hoping to have it out by Christmas as a joint release from Asian Man and Department of Biophysics. It is in a very rough state though. We want to have a 2-hour feature about the history of Five Iron, with a ton of bonus footage like: short films, videos (new ones even!), etc. It has just taken so long to compile all of the footage, and import it all onto a hard drive for editing. Keep your fingers crossed.

Hot off the announcement of The Mighty Mighty Bosstones and Operation Ivy news, High School Football Heroes have reunited:
BulletinWhen I said indefinite hiatus over a year ago I didn't think we'd get back together, I expected a last show and us to go our separate ways. Again I was proven wrong as the High School Football Heroes are getting back together. I would have waited a little before writing this but Dave insisted I post immediately, so yeah. Give it some time, we're gonna practice for a while, get the kinks out, but yeah, dust off your dancing shoes cause we're back. We will be immediately working on new material and tour won't be immediate, but will happen again and everywhere....

MessageHey kids. Dan Lipski here from the Patent Pending camp. Got some bad news for everyone...during our show tonight with Gym Class Heroes, Cobra Starship, & Hangar 18 at the Knitting Factory in NYC our van was broken into and robbed. Skunk Allstars Album Concept"Words From the Underclass - Frank and his Skunk Allstars"
