The Junior Varsity leaves for Long Island tonight to start recording their new album. They will be entering the studio with 18 songs with producer Mike Watts (Hopesfall) for 5 weeks. Expect a studio website and updates very soon.
Olamide Adeyooye's killer has pleaded "guilty" to all charges against him and was given a sentence of life in prison. Her boyfriend, Andy Wildrick of The Junior Varsity has written a statement for the Associated Press below on his reaction.
The Junior Varsity would like to appologize from the bottom of their hearts to the enormous crowd whom stood in the rain, lightning, and thunder waiting for them to play yesterday before Jack's Mannequin at Summerfest in Milwaukee. Apparently, The Junior Varsity was one of only 2 bands in the last 12 years not able to play due to weather conditions.

Fan reports in: The Junior Varsity's song "Get Comfortable" was played for like 5 seconds at the end of the Last Gaunlet 2 episode on MTV.com. Also, the host annouces who they are and the song and the song plays through the credits.
