I've mentioned my love for Love Arcade on here a few times. They've just updated their purevolume with a stream of my favorite track from their new album called, "Passenger," and a download of the infectiously catchy, "Can't Stop." Unlike most bands, they actually have different songs on their purevolume and MySpace pages, so if you like what you hear, check out both. Their self titled debut is in stores now.

Below is an update from Just Surrender:
UpdateSo we are home safe and sound after a 3,000 mile drive straight to New York from Seattle. We want to send out a thank you to Amber Pacific for having us out on their full U.S. tour as well as everyone who made it out to one or more of the shows! For the past two and a half months we've been cooped up in the van carving out what will eventually be our next record which leaves us where we are now. We will be writing and rehearsing, and hopefully taking as many writers' leaves as possible, for the remainder of the Fall and we hope to be hitting the studio before Winter's end for a month or so to give you guys something new! It may be a while...

Transition has decided to call it quits; a statement from the band can be found below. Expect new projects from various members to surface shortly.
StatementIt takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new. But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful. There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power. - Alan Cohen

This great quote reflects the amazing transformations that have taken place in our lives in the past couple months. This past July things crumbled to our feet in a truly poetic way. It was a beautiful mistake. We had not given anything up, but the...

A message from Oceans Firing on their MySpace:
MessageSigning some contracts...
Hey guys. Just realized that we never really made an announcement about signing.

We signed a deal with Floodgate Records/East West/Warner Music Group. Pretty sweet.

We will be recording our full length at Vudu Studios in New York during August and September. Steve Haigler (Brand New, As Tall as Lions, Down to Earth Approach) will be producing and Mike Watts (Brand New, The Chariot, As Cities Burn) will be engineering and mixing.

Thanks for all of your support.
